A year ago we were made aware that other Somerset patients had had random phone calls claiming to be from their GP surgery and appearing to know about their medications.
Today we had our first patient report that they had been called. Apparently they are very convincing that they are from East Quay Medical Centre. This is not the case. We never pass on information to companies who call like this.
So, if you get a call like this, remember that it is not us. Please do not give out any information. If you can get any information from them so that we can report it, please let us know.
