✔️ Do you live near Somerset, St Austell, or Falmouth in Cornwall and/or can get to these areas?

✔️ Are you experiencing mild to moderate depression or anxiety?

✔️ Would you like to explore nature-based activities to support your mental health?

If so, you could join our free, six-week programme delivered by the Eden Project, Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT), or the Sensory Trust!

Who are we?

We are a team of researchers from the Universities of Exeter and Plymouth, working on a study to understand how nature-based activities can support mental health. We want to understand how effective these activities are and how easy and practical it is for people with anxiety and/or depression to take part in this kind of research.

What does taking part involve?

You’ll join a six-week programme of group activities delivered by the Sensory Trust, Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT), or the Eden Project. Weekly sessions are 3–4-hours in length, and includes activities like nature walks, bird feeding, pond dipping, and conservation work.

We will ask you to complete research questionnaires about your health and share your feedback about the experience. Your participation will help us to refine the study and prepare for a larger trial in the future.
