The NHS is publishing monthly data on appointments in GP surgeries from October onwards.
Unfortunately the NHS data systems don’t capture data accurately for all systems. This includes ours.
So our data shows as 0.8% of appointments are face to face, 0.6% are telephone and 98.6% are ‘unknown’.
This will mean we look rather poor in the rankings.
So, we thought you may like to know the actual figures!
In October, East Quay Medical Centre:
-Saw 7502 patients face to face
-2612 patients had telephone consultations
-86 patients had home visits
This is 74.4% Face to Face – The Somerset average for face to face is 54.3%
